A natural approach to learning
At Magnolia Community Academy we believe that education should be adaptive to the individual learner. Classrooms and educators that are flexible enable the learning environment to then become responsive to the student, not the other way around.
We believe small communities of students learning together, facilitated by knowledgeable adults, are ideal foundries for supporting student- centered growth.
We believe there are many wonderful education philosophies and rather than feel bound by the structure of one learning style, we feel it is best to incorporate the best aspects of various philosophies to meet our students’ needs.
In order to foster the development of the whole child we firmly believe that we need to respect that each child is an individual with unique learning skills. In this way we not only teach a curriculum of core subjects but we promote the social, emotional, and creative wellbeing of the child.
